Verified Impressive Tanzania The individual, well-accompanied safari of Zepisa African Safaris was absolutely impressive. Thank you!Verified 16-day safari - perfectly organized at fair prices We stayed with 19 friends, spread over 3 jeeps, on a round trip from Kilimanjaro Airport/Arusha, with 4-day stay in Engassumet in the Maasai steppe, Lushoto in the Usambara mountains, Bagamoyo, Mikumi NP, Udzungwa forest, Nyerere NP and return flight from Dar es Salaam. We had suggested the route very individually and Zepisa worked it out perfectly and found good lodges for us. This is the third time I have travelled with tour operators. Of all three trips, this one was the best organized! Nyemo and his team have accompanied us to all places and visits to our Maasai friends in Engassumet, Kitwai (A) and the Maasai village in Terere. The same applies to all other programme items. The trip was perfectly prepared and executed in every respect. The drivers gave us a detailed insight into the flora and fauna in the national parks. My personal highlight was the encounter with a pack of wild dogs that we came across on the edge of Nyerere NP. An all-round perfect trip, super organized, perfectly executed! All of the very friendly Zepisa employees accompanied us at all times and were on site to discuss details or clarify questions. They were also willing to translate for us when we met people who did not speak English. The accommodations were very well chosen, and on all-day trips there was always a lunch provided along the way, which was very plentiful. We could not recommend Zepisa African Safaris more highly!! From first communication to getting dropped back off at the Kilimanjaro airport, our entire 8-day honeymoon was seamless and incredible. We first communicated with Nyemo, who helped us customize our 8-day safari itinerary and accommodations according to what we wanted to see. Nyemo was quick to respond, informative, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Nyemo then helped us with preparations for the trip, from booking our accommodations to keeping us informed on getting Visas and vaccinations. He also was communicative, informative, and gracious in answering our questions. Our itinerary consisted of 1 night at Gran Melia in Arusha, 1 night at Maramboi Tented Lodge near Tarangire, 2 nights at Nyota Luxury Camp in central Serengeti, 2 nights at Lake Masek Tented Lodge in Ndutu, and 1 night at Manyara’s Secret near Lake Manyara during calving season. This itinerary was perfect for us and we recommend all lodgings. We are vegetarian and were able to have delicious and balanced meals everywhere we were.For the game drives, we could not have had a better experience! Our guide Gilbert was amazing. He is a great driver, incredibly knowledgeable about the areas we were in and all of its wildlife, and adaptable to the things we were interested in. He made sure we got to see the big five, and in fact we were able to see countless lions, elephants, and buffalo in addition to 3 leopards and 2 black rhinos with his keen spotting and driving! I have a special interest in birds and Gilbert graciously helped me to both spot and identify over 100 species. I will always remember fondly working through our bird species books together in order to come up with an identification for the less common spottings! We are grateful we had him as our guide and highly recommend him.You will not regret booking with Zepisa African Safaris!! We did the 5 day safari with our 16 and 11 year olds passing by Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. We met many animals and saw beautiful landscapes.Our Stepha driver was very attentive and helpful. Great driver even on challenging roads and long journeys. Tanzania is a wonderful land. Highly recommended!Nyemo provided us with all the information we needed from the start (October 2023) until the safari (July 2024). We opted for the northern parks and went to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. We enjoyed everything; the car, the overnight stays, the parks and of course our private guide/driver Gilbert. We spotted the Big 5 and many more beautiful animals such as the cheetah, hyenas, many giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas and an abundance of bird species. Gilbert was very patient and gave us a lot of information. Gilbert was able to name the different bird and animal species and support them with the books he had. Tanzania has so much to offer and it is great to have Nyemo as your contact person and Gilbert as your guide/driver! Good luck gentlemen with your company!Verified Brillian experience We booked a 9-day Southern circuit ( Ruaha, Mikumi, Nyerere) mid-range safari with Zepisa and we were super happy we did so. Nyemo and Husain were always there for us, organized everything exactly as we wished, and even helped us with planning things for after the safari. They are both nice to be around, Husain is insanely good driver and very knowledgable guide and we just loved having him with us. Everything went as smoothly as it can in a country like Tanzania and we felt safe and cared for the whole time.
