Preparation

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please prepare the following items:

Identification (ID or Passport) for the boarding process
Sunscreen to protect your skin from harmful UV rays
Sunglasses and Hat to shield your eyes and head from direct sunlight
Waterproof bag to keep your belongings dry
Essential medications, if required for any specific condition

Pick-Up, Briefing and Refreshments:

Start your adventure with a professional safety briefing at fully acclimatized departure lounge at Forodhani Gardens, 30 minutes prior to departure time. Children will be provided with life jackets upon arrival at the departure lounge, while adults will receive life jackets on-board. Enjoy complimentary WIFI and indulge in snacks and beverages as you relax in the acclimatized departure lounge, conveniently located near private toilets. To ensure your comfort, it is advised to leave large baggage at the departure lounge.

Boarding Process

After the briefing, your guide will escort you to the submarine boarding platform via our inflatable shuttle boat (RIB). Depending on the tide level, you will either board the shuttle boat from nearby stairs or a close beach. Upon reaching the floating boarding platform, our Captain and crew will warmly welcome and assist you, followed by a concise briefing.

Cruise to Coral Reef

Embark on a scenic 30-minute cruise to the enchanting coral reef. It is recommended to start on the upper deck, where your guide will share fascinating information about the history of Zanzibar, nearby islands, and the renowned Stone Town. During the tour, you have the option to enjoy the sights from either the upper or lower deck. As you approach the reef, your guide will guide you to the lower deck, where you can begin exploring the diverse marine life through our large unbreakable windows. Complementing your journey, fish and coral charts, along with the guide’s explanations, enhance your understanding of this captivating ecosystem for 2 Hours semi-submarine tour.
